People throughout Finland held a minute of silence on Sunday morning to commemorate the victims of a stabbing spree on Friday in the city of Turku. An 18-year-old Moroccan national killed two people and injured eight others in what Finland considers the first terrorist attack in the country’s modern history. President Sauli Niinisto laid flowers at the scene of the attack, the Turku market square. City and police officials and local religious leaders joined in the ceremony. – RT
