At least five people were reported to have been killed, several others wounded in a huge explosion at a busy tea shop in the southern port town of Kismayo on Tuesday afternoon.
Conflicting reports are emerging from the type of the blast, which has ripped through the cafe, popular with local elders, youngsters and Jubbaland security force members.
Witnesses at the scene say the explosion has resulted from explosives-laden car parked at the tea-shop, while other sources reported that a bomber has carried out the attack.
The death is likely to rise, as many of the of the wounded are in critical conditions.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the cafe bombing, but Police said they believe Al shabaab was responsible for the carnage.
