Ahlu Sunna Waljama, a moderate Islamic movement in central Somalia has rejected outcome of the national leadership forum (NLF) which was held last week in Somali capital, Mogadishu.
The vice president of Ahlu Sunna Waljama Ali Bashi Ali said the federal government and regional states leaders attended the NLF failed to reach a common deal on the next election.
Mr Ali said his administration has nothing to support the deal, in which he said could not lead the horn of Africa country to a free and fair election by the end of 2016.
“The national leadership forum has collapsed after several regional leaders have walked out of it due to a spat over the formation of the upper house of the next parliament,” Ali said.
